We are a private equipment and drilling rig manufacturing company serving the international oil industry.
Currently Discovery is a wholly international company with its multinational team of experts experienced from working in key rig building and drilling companies around the world. We employ about 600 of staff at the moment.
Discovery can offer its clients the best engineering solutions in the industry. Though our Canadian engineering company and associate companies in Canada we develop the conceptual designs of the equipment and with our large (over 20 professional rig engineers) department in Ukraine we do the detailed designs. Discovery has its own technology of rig controls equipment developed and produced through our joint venture in South East Asia – Discovery Controls.
Our prime advantage is a unique manufacturing facility in Ukraine. With more than 120 years of rig building experience, the factory was recently upgraded to meet all modern international industry requirements. The factory is capable of building all types of rigs including land rigs, skidding rigs (for onshore and offshore drilling), mobile and trailer mounted rigs. Discovery uses it as a manufacturing base for supplying top international customers. Products quality is very high according to any standards. The factory is fully ISO and API certified and its capacity is one of the largest in this industry.
