Kyiv University of Law
Kyiv University of Law (KUL) is a successor of the High School of Law attached to Koretskiy Institute of State and Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The conception of its activity is based on the integration of legal education and fundamental theoretical researches in this field.
Teachers of profile disciplines are leading scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, among whom is one academician, there are although four member-correspondents of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, 20 doctors of sciences, above 60 candidates of sciences, readers and assistant lecturers.
Having a great experience in teaching, scholars aspire to pass on their knowledge to young generation. This was the way of practical realization of the idea of foundation of the higher educational establishment where there is real possibility to get knowledge and experience with the help of new form of study on the basis off optimum fundamental science and education.
The rector of Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine is Boshytskiy Uriy Ladyslavovych, candidate of jurisprudence, professor. Office of the head of studies’ vice-rector is Bobrovnyk Svitlana Vasylivna, candidate of jurisprudence, professor. Honorary rector of Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine is academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Academy of Law Sciences of Ukraine Shemshuchenko Uriy Sergiyovych – brilliant scientist and organizer of jurisprudence in Ukraine.
The university has eight departments which are headed by chief scholars, doctors and candidates of sciences. In 2001 military department was opened for military training of our students, who can be admitted to the program “reserve officer ”.
Subdivisions of the university were founded in Uzhhorod, Simferopol and Rivne. They provide first and second higher education.
Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine train highly qualified lawyers for state and law enforcement agencies, in scientific fields and marketing economy. The IV level accreditation gives the opportunity to get Bachelor’s, Specialist’s, Master’s diploma of state pattern.
