Modern Cancer Care Hospital LISSOD
“Modern Cancer Care Hospital” LISSOD is a unique non-governmental medical institution in Ukraine and in all former Soviet countries providing comprehensive closed cycle of prevention, diagnostics and treatment of cancer diseases.
Since opening of LISSOD in February, 2007, the inhabitants of Ukraine gained access to cancer care in compliance with the modern standards, which proved their high efficiency worldwide in the leading cancer centers.
Top-ranked specialists from Germany and Israel possessing wide experience in the cancer field were invited to work in the hospital on an ongoing basis. Highly qualified Ukrainian specialists work alongside with the foreign doctors in one team. All our doctors received training abroad, namely in Israel, USA, Japan, Europe. LISSOD is taking constant care of maintaining high level of qualification of its medical personnel.
LISSOD is an active participant of Ukrainian and global cancer society.
LISSOD doctors are active members of European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO), American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE), American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), European Association of Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC), European Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ESTRO), European Society of Gynecological Oncology (ESGO), European Society of Surgical Oncology (ESSO), European Cervical Cancer Association (ECCA) and others.
Despite its young age, LISSOD is widely known not only in Ukraine, but also beyond its borders., A lot of oncologists from Russia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Armenia and other CIS countries are visiting us in order to exchange experience.
Applying the global cancer standards in its practice, LISSOD is promoting their implementation in Ukraine. Scientific and practical seminars are conducted at our hospital as well as master classes for Ukrainian doctors; LISSOD doctors constantly deliver lectures at medical conferences in various cities of our country.
