Maintenance system
After two decades of operations, airplanes of the An-32 family have proved to be reliable, easy to maintain, manoeuvrable both in air and on the ground. During this period over 350 aircraft were manufactured, and now they are operated in 22 countries. The total operational time of the vehicles produced exceeds 1,209,000 flight hours, or 1,079,400 flights.
The An-32 family comprises light transport multipurpose airplanes that can be delivered both in military and civil variants.
Their main purpose is to transport cargoes at short and middle-range routes.
The military transport An-32 (prototype) is designed for transportation, parachuting and landing of troops, military equipment and cargoes, as well as for transportation of wounded men.

Transport Aircraft An-70
An-70 provides delivery of cargoes with total mass 30-47 t for a distance of 1350-5000 km at cruising speed of 750 kph (dimensions of An-70 cargo compartment - 21.4x4x4.1 (m), capacity ? 426 m3 ), with the possibility of operation in different versions for military and civil purposes.
By aerodynamic configuration the aircraft is monoplane with high-located wing of trapezoidal shape, deck tail empennage, three supporting landing gear and cargo door in tail section of fuselage.
Aircraft fitted with modern complex of cargo-handling equipment including four monorail motor hoists, winches, mooring and roller track equipment.
Wing of moderate sweep high aspect ratio with supercritical profiles allows to perform flight with cruising speed 750-800 km/h. Efficacious wing high-lift devices with consideration of blowing by jets of rotor-fans provides high carrying performances in takeoff-landings modes.
Depending on way of using An-70 provides operation from concrete runways and from other runways with artificial less firm surface of 1600-2200 m length as well, and also from ground less-equipped and less firm runways of 600-900 m length.
Capability of An-70 to take off and to land in super-short less-built soil runways allows to use runways three times more, that 1.5 times increases aircraft's transport efficiency in making delivery of cargoes directly to point of destination.
An-70 is fitted out with four D-27 turboprop engines with coaxial rotor-fans CB-27 that provid |

Heavy Transport Aircraft An-124-100 ?Ruslan?
The heavy transport An-124 was created in 1982; it is a wide-body aircraft, designed to carry various cargoes, including those, whose loading gauge and weight do no allow carrying them by rail and other means of transportations. The An-124-100 ?Ruslan? is a civil version of the airplane. The vehicle was designed to large freight hauling for new building work in Siberia , the North and the Far East , as well as at transcontinental carriages. the cargo space can place and secure carriage of maritime containers weighing up to 20 t in through the fore and aft hatches, long frameworks and bridge conduits, earthmovers and pipe-laying machines, building cranes and drilling equipment, heavy dump-trucks and tractors, buses, river boats, etc. Modern airborne transport equipment comprising two bridge cranes weighing 10 t each, two winches with the thrust of 29 kN, and roller and tie-down equipment provides for loading and unloading the aircraft without assistance.
The multipurpose heavy long-haul wide-body transport aircraft An-124-100 ?Ruslan? is designed to carry various cargoes, including bulky and heavy goods, as well as equipment, that cannot be carried by rail and land. The vehicle secures cargo transportation at long distances, including transcontinental routes.
The aircraft is able to cover the distance of 4500 km with the maximum load of 120 t, it performs flights in all latitudes, in altitudes of up to 10000 m and in temperatures ranging from 60 ? ? below zero to 45 ? ? ab |
