 DoncementThe OJSC "Doncement" has 6 technological lines on manufacture clinker of total installed capacity of 1988 thousand ton of clinker per year and 8 technological lines on grinding of cement of total capacity of 2100 thousand ton of cement per year. The basic stages of a technological line of manufacture are: - Extraction and processing of raw material. - Preparation of a raw mix. - Burning of clinker. - Grinding of cement. - Storage, warehousing and shipment of finished goods. The basic raw materials in manufacturing of cement are marlstone and chalk. Besides at the various production phases, depending on the type of cement, various additives such as slag, gypsum, pyrite drosses etc. are used. The enterprise independently is engaged in the extraction of the basic raw materials - chalk and marlstone - in its own quarries. Mining is conducted by open way. Development of minerals is carried out by dredges with preliminary aeration with the energy of explosion. The preliminary slurry grinding is made in the mills "Hydrofall". The transportation of raw material at quarry is carried out by railway cars, from quarry to the plant site - by heavy trucks and hydro transport. OJSC "Doncement", as well as the majority of cement producers in Ukraine, uses a "wet" method of manufacture of cement. Ready-made cement is transported by pumps to silos. Shipment of cement is made by railway cars and heavy trucks. The enterprise also sells the cement packed under European standards. By request of clients cement can be packed in a bag of total weight from 10 up to 50 kg, in no-pallet container of weight from 0,5 up to 1,950 ton. Also on demand it is possible to pack the cement into the soft container such as "Big-Bag" (0,5-1,5 ton).
