 National Scientific Center M.D. STRAZHESKO INSTITUTE OF CARDIOLOGY, MAS of UkraineAbout 800 employees work at the Center, among them - 36 Doctors and 86 Candidates of Medical Science. Researchers of the Center work at solution of contemporary problems of diagnostics, treatment and prophylaxis of cardiovascular diseases. In the course of a year approximately 35 thousand of patients consulted an Out-patient department of the Center. About 10 thousand of patients received a course of medical treatment at the In-patients department of the Center. An integral part of Researchers' work at the Center is cooperation as a part of Association of Cardiologists of Ukraine, which includes development of guidelines. Several special centers are operating at the Institute: - The Ukrainian Organizational Methodological Cardiological Center; - The Ukrainian Organizational Methodological Rheumatologic Center; - The Center of Adverse Drug Reactions of the Pharmacological Committee of the Ukrainian Ministry of Health.
