 ODEKThe history of the enterprise started at the end of the XIX-th century when the “Society of mechanical wood procesing” was founded in Orzhiv. Over a period of more than 125 years “ODEK” has gained invaluable experience in birch plywood production in particular. “ODEK” is a modern enterprise, which is equipped with a high-technology equipment for plywood production with capacity of 80000 m3 per year. High quality raw materials are used for plywood manufacturing : - Russian birch logs from the best forest areas; - covering film from well-known European manufacturers; - resins from Finland. The quality of plywood meets the requirements of European standards. That is confirmed by Certificates of conformity of Factory Production Control to EN 13986:2002 nr. 0502-CPD-10004 (CE-marking), DIN 68 705 p.3 and FSC. The quality of “ODEK” plywood is ensured with a high-professional level of the production personnel and well-organized control system. Having all needed equipment, the mill’s laboratory carries out daily control of different indices of the product quality. Plywood strength indices meet the requirements of the following standards: - EN 19386:2002 (EN 636, EN 314-2, prEN 1995-1-1); - DIN 68705 part 3 / type BFU 100; - BS 6566 part 8 / type WBP; - SFS 2815 / type EXT. Emission of formaldehyde. Indices are lower admissible. The product conforms to the class E-1. Quality of film faced plywood surface. The quality of plywood overlay is evaluated as uniform. According to the technical requirements DIN EN 438 part 1 and 2 the product has index 3 – “High wear resistant”.
