 OSC Ilyich Iron and Steel Works of MariupolThe main aspect of the Works’ activity is to produce high quality steel plate used in important structures, shipbuilding, pipelines, gas pipes, water supply pipes, compressed gas flasks. Among the basic products are: iron ore sinter for iron production, pig iron, granulated slag and screened into size ranges crushed stone, ñast and rolled slabs, mono and bimetal plates, hotrolled products including pickled and cold)rolled products in coils and sheets, coldrolled steel (including galvanized steel) in coils and sheets, steel strip, seamless and welded pipes, steel flasks for gases. Ilyich Iron and Steel Works is the supplier of steel plates for shipbuilding industry. This metall is certified by acknowledged international sertifiication centres. Many ship hulls for Ukrainian and Russian merchant and icebreakers fleets and navy are made of metall produced at the Ilyich Works. The Works is the bigest manufacturer in Ukraine, producing galvanized coldrolled sheets. Unaidedly and in cooperation with scientific organizations, works out and introduces new manufacturing processes. There is a constant upgrading of technical equipment and technologies.
