 Poltava Automobile Unit PlantOJSC "Poltava Automobile Unit Plant" ("PAAZ"), part of "AutoKrAZ" Holding Company", was established on Dec 1st 1945, as a service plant for agricultural equipment and today it is a modern well-equipped producer of complex air brake gear for heavy-duty commercial vehicles. Now PAAZ is the only in Ukraine and one of the biggest companies of such specialization in CIS, which produces air brake gear for KrAZ, KamAZ, MAZ, BelAZ trucks, trailers, semi-trailers, buses, trolley-buses as well as for other specialized vehicles. In addition to that, PAAZ diversifies its product range with consumer goods (meat mincing machines, kitchen machines, juice extractors, pelmeni makers), which are very popular and well-demanded today not only in Ukraine, but also in Russia, Germany, Romania, Kazakhstan, Moldova and other countries. According to the results of the Best Native Product 2007 contest, OJSC Poltava Automobile Unit Plant was recognized as the winner in Machine-building and Metal Working Goods Production nomination and awarded with gold medal of quality and received the diploma of Best Native Product 2007 in its field.
