 The manning agency IntermarineThe manning agency “Intermarine” has been recruiting seafarers since 1991. At the request of our company`s partners we recruit seafarers for any type of vessels. At present here are about 1000 people selected by our professional staff working on board of ships at any time. We are proud to have a pool of highly qualified personnel, who are able to perform a wide range of services in the manning field as follows: • checking up professional knowledge and skills, • organizing specialized training courses and seminars, • checking up availability and authenticity of required documents in accordance with STCW 78/95 regulations, • checking up the command of English, • medical examination. To achieve the best results in our work, the personnel of our agency regularly attend various types of trainings, thematic courses and receive appropriate certificates on completing them. In view of that we very well realize that safe operation of the vessel, safety of the crew and cargo depend on professional skills of the crew, special attention is paid to testing the knowledge of safety regulations and rules by our seafarers. Our company closely cooperates with such organization as “ Water Transport Workers and Seamen's Unions Federation of Ukraine”, “Federation of Employers of Ukraine”, “Ukrainian Marine Trade Union`s Federation”, “ Black Sea Regional Employers Organization of Ukrainian Seafarers` Employment”. “Intermarine” Agency cooperates from the date of its foundation with Greek company “Kindos Mariner S.A.” being its exclusive representative in Ukraine. From its side, “Kindos Mariner S.A.” has become our representative on Greek crewing market. The head of the company “Kindos Mariner S.A.” is Captain Dimitris Zourdos, who is the Master since 1962 and has been awarded MEDAL OF HONOUR from Odessa City Administration.
