 Tovarystvo Pryyateli DiteyTovarystvo Pryyateli Ditey (Friends of Children) Charity Fund was registered with the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine in August, 1996, as a nation-wide charity organization. In its activity, the Charity is supported by hundreds of people within Ukraine as well as abroad who in various ways want to support the Ukrainian orphans. Today, the Charity’s activity is aimed at various aspects of the orphans’ and orphanages’ lives. Our goal is to provide material needs of orphans and institutions where they live as well as to find the ways to bring up the orphaned children to trust the community, to teach them to be citizens of Ukraine enjoying full rights and responsibilities as any other Ukrainian citizen, while at the institution as well as after graduation from them. From the other hand, we make efforts to draw attention of the community and public offices to needs and drawbacks of the children’s institutions to improve the state of the institutions and life standards for children who are raised there. In anything we do, an orphan child and his/her needs and interests are the priorities of our activity regardless of the orphan’s age, social background or medical status.
