 UCIPRThe Ukrainian Center for Independent Political Research is a non-party, non-governmental and non-profit institution promoting democratic values and procedures in public policy and government. Since Ukraine?s independence in 1991, the UCIPR is a lead non-governmental think tank. Throughout 17 years, the Center?s name has been a synonym for the quality and originality of studies, compliance with interests of social groups, competence and politically unbiased actions and conclusions. Over that period, we have grown stronger and more influential; our activity is in great demand. The UCIPR?s history and content of its studies mirror all the complex and controversial processes of democracy strengthening in Ukraine, involvement of citizens in decision-making through representation and public participation, development and promotion of a non-governmental analytical sector of public policy.
