Ternopil National Pedagogical University
Ternopil National V. Hnatiuk Pedagogical University is a leading centre of higher education in Western Ukraine. It ranks among the nation's three best pedagogical universities and has been awarded the Diplomas of the International Academic Popularity and Quality Rating "Golden Fortune".
The University trains teachers and instructors in 44 fields of study, awards undergraduate and postgraduate doctors' degrees, and offers continuing education programmes as well as re- training courses.
The University incorporates 10 Faculties, 50 Departments, Institute of Art and the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology. More than 7, 500 students enrol the University every year. It employs about 475 lecturers and researchers, including:
- 3 Academics of the Academy of Sciences of Higher Education of Ukraine;
- 2 Academies of Pedagogical Sciences;
- 48 Doctors of Sciences, Professors;
- 269 Science PhD holders;
