 Concern StirolThe history of Stirol tells us that it has always been among the flagships in chemical industry, the leader in solving of numerous problems of national chemical industry. On April 23, 1933 the nitric-coke-oven gas plant was the first in the former Soviet Union to start the production of ammonia from coke-oven gas. It was not easy for the first employees of the plant who came from the neighbouring country-side to master quite new work, but their persistance and will were really legendary. In 63 years - on October the 9th, 1996 - we put on stream completely new and the most modern plant for production of pharmaceutical products constructed and arranged in accordance with international GMP standards. We started from three pharmaceutical products. Today, during the jubilee year, we are fulfilling the programme of production of 24 new pharmaceutical products. From September 1995 Stirol's employees have become the owners of their company - the Open Stockholding Company "Concern "Stirol". Every day we observe positive changes at our company: new plants are being erected, the site becomes more and more organized, the employees become more skilled and purposeful. In such a way, step by step, we realize our dream: we work that everybody in the world would know: made at Stirol - means that the product is of high quality, worthy of confidence and recognition.
