DANUBESHIPSERVICE

"Danubeshipservice" was established in 1944, when a ship - repairing yard has been founded for providing repairs to gunships of the Danube fleet at a quiet and picturesque place in the Izmail Danube.

In 1952 "a ship - repairing yard" was reorganized into "The Izmail ship - repairing mechanical plant", which became the main repair enterprise of a fishing association "Antarctica". The plant was equipped to repair vessels like the Black Sea medium seiner, an industrial - transport seiner, a medium fish refrigirator trauler, "Atlantic", "Superatlantic". Repair works of sea going and river vessels like ships of the Ukrainian Danube Line got possible with the acquisition of new equipment in 1991.

In 1995 the plant became private property, and it was renamed into OJS "The Danube ship service company". The enterprise was then divided into two legal entities as OJS "The Izmail river port "Dunaisudoservice" and OJS ship - repairing enterprise "Dunaisudoservice" as a result of restructuring in 2002.

During 2002-2003 the ownership structure of the company has been reorganized, and the company has had a sharp increase in its production volume. During 2002-2003, the turnover amounted to 1,8 million grivnas, and by 2004 the turnover increased to 6,9 million grivnas.

"Dunaisudoservice" has been steadily restoring its market share through effective management of the enterprise, provision of adequate social care for its employees, and also employment of highly qualified professionals who take pride in their work and provide the highest quality service to customers.
