 Sumy National Agrarian UniversityThe SNAU is the member of the following organizations: the International Professional Association of Agrarian Management and Rural Development, the World Poultry science Association (WPSA), the World Veterinarian Association, the European Society of Agricultural Faculties (ESAF), the Association of Deans of Economical Specialization of the European Institutions (Ukrainian-Polish-Slovakian Forum). Common education programmes are in priority. Implementation of such educational programmes is important for successful joining SNAU the Bologna Process, which is recognized by leading European universities system of certification, accreditation and assessment of students’ knowledge. First of all, we should admit the International Master Programme, established within the framework of collaboration with the the Weihenstephan University of Applied Science. Since December 2001 the Sumy National Agrarian University has become an official partner of the DAAD “German Academic Exchange Service” and signed the agreements about cooperation with four Partner Universities: the Weihenstephan University of Applied Science, the Kyiv National Agrarian University, the Novosibirsk State Agrarian University, the Alma-Ata National Agrarian University. According to the agreement, mutual approval of educational credits is implemented and double diplomas are issued (Ukrainian and German state sample of diplomas). During long-time period the SNAU cooperates with Polish higher education institutions within the framework of academic mobility of students and professor staff. During 1-2 semesters students study at the Partner University and the obtained credits are recognized by both sides. The lecturers, in turn, have an opportunity to get a scientific training in the branch of their research. In common with the Neurtingen University of Applied Science the SNAU is also a participant of the project of DAAD “Leonhard Euler Scholar Programme”, in the context of which young scientists make their researches both in Ukraine and in Germany. In the sphere of international cooperation we pay special attention to the delegations from the foreign universities and partner organizations, which visit our institution for conducting mutual workshops, conferences, lectures and practical courses. Such exchange is intensifying, as during 2008-2009 more than 70 delegations visited our university.
