The International Charity Foundation Innovation and Development Centre

The International Charity Foundation "Innovation and Development Centre" (IDC International) was founded to coordinate charity activities in order to support the development of science, culture and education through the design and implementation of innovative projects in the socio-economic, education, cultural and scientific areas.

Since its inception in December 2000, the Foundation has directed its efforts in support of its aim, by distributing nearly UAH 5 million in assistance through several notable projects, both one-time and ongoing. Each project's design and activity implementation incorporates the most successful models of internatoinal practices.

To provide food to the disabled and elderly population in Kiev and Kharkiv, the Foundation played a key role in the charitable program "With Kindness and respect". During 2001, 3395 pensioners and disabled men and women received food packages in Kyiv and over 600 individuals obtained similar support in Kharkiv. This program includes the resources of a wide range of donors and supporters :JSC "Phillip Morris Ukraine", the Phillip Morris Fund, the Valeriy Vostrotin International Charity Foundation. Additionally, the program partnered with city and district territorial centres of social protection of pensioners and other socially unprotected citizens.
