 ZPRIMZhytomyr Plant of Roofing and Isolation Materials was founded in 1924. The Civil War was finished and all the country intended to start the reconstruction. It was essential to be provided with all the stuff and materials for the reconstruction. The plant has grown rapidly in the place of neglected ground and got the name ?Tolevy? by the basic product of the plant ? the tar paper. The production of tar paper, roofing felt, ruberoid, bitumen and pitch paper, glassine and grinding paper was commenced. In 1975 the plant was moved to a new area, located in the zone of the industrial building - industrial area Kroshnya and renamed to Zhytomyr Plant of Roofing and Isolation Materials. Since February, 1994 the plant has been reorganized to public corporation. Nowadays the plant is up-to-day enterprise with the total area of 7 hectares and more than 70 people of the staff. A wide range of products is manufactured by the enterprise: asphalt-laminated kraft paper, glassine, paraffined paper, mastic materials (bituminous-rubber cement, mastic for electro-sleeves etc). The production of two kinds of waterproof paper was developed. The products of the plant are in great demand among the customers due to well-organized work of the staff, who guarantee high quality of goods and services.
