The country was at war, and in the night of January 1, 1944, the city of Zhitomir was finally liberated. The only building left among ashes and debris of the fully destroyed city was the three-level mill that was re-equipped into confectionary producing cookies for the soldiers, hospitals and orphanages. And all this was done by only 7 people, but these were the people who sacrificed all their energy, time and even health to the work they were doing. Presently, CJSC Zhytomirski Lasoschi is a large factory ranking 5th in the national confectionary industry by production output. European class goods are produced in seven production units fitted with powerful and state-of-the-art equipment. Quality assurance system complies with ISO 9001:2000. Along with traditional products, our specialists are developing the new ones to keep up with modern life – in late 2006 there appeared innovative healthy snacks: cereal bar Good Day and chocolate snacks Brunch. Nougat filled chocolate bars Klyovo! Nuga (Cool! Nougat) are extremely popular. In 2006, we saw the need to expand our target customer group. Within the frameworks of this strategy, we designed the new trademark Doma (At home) the main mission of which is buying nice and affordable sweet present for family and friends to share the warmth of the heart with. More than two thousand professionals do their best to satisfy your wishes and demands, so that every time you eat our sweets you would feel joy, love, and warmth of our hearts.
